The Sony Playstation VR2 features an OLED display with a resolution of 2000 x 2040 pixels per eye and supports refresh rates of 90Hz and 120Hz. It offers adjustable lens separation and a field of view of approximately 110 degrees.
Equipped with a range of sensors, it includes a six-axis motion sensing system (combining a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer) and an infrared proximity sensor for detecting when the headset is worn.
For tracking, there are four built-in cameras that monitor both the headset and controllers, along with an infrared eye-tracking camera for each eye. The headset also provides haptic feedback through built-in vibration.
It connects to the PlayStation 5 via a USB Type-C® cable. Audio capabilities include a built-in microphone for input and a stereo headphone jack for output
