A11 Chip 

One of the main features of our refurbished iPhone 8 series is the Bionic chip upgrade. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus both have the A11 chip.

The A11 chip is 25% faster than the A10 Fusion chip in the iPhone 7, and has four efficiency cores that are 70% faster. All six cores can be harnessed at the same time for much improved speeds when handling multi-thread workloads. All of this power enables incredible new machine learning, AR apps and immersive 3D games. 

Design & Appearance 

The iPhone 8 series sees very little change in the outer appearance. But don’t be discouraged because it’s what’s on the inside that counts!

Camera

The iPhone 8 series also has an upgraded camera system, better than earlier iPhone models. 

The iPhone 8 has the same 12MP rear camera resolution as the iPhone 7. However, its upgrade includes better image sensors that let 83% more light into the wide-angle camera compared to the previous generation.

The iPhone 8 Plus features dual 12MP wide and telephoto lenses. It also introduces Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, bringing dramatic studio lighting effects allowing you to capture portraits in five different lighting styles.

Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offer the same 7MP camera at the front. This camera provides a Retina flash. On both models, TrueDepth gets an upgrade, making for more flattering selfies. 

The iPhone 8 still doesn’t get the same amount of RAM as the iPhone 8 Plus. However, the latter drives a higher resolution display and dual cameras, which require the extra horsepower with 3GB RAM vs 2GB RAM on the iPhone 8. 

Video Recording

The iPhone 8 series shoots with 4K video recording of 24fps, 30fps or 60fps. 4K has a higher resolution, so that means a lot more pixels in the overall image. The higher the resolution, the sharper the image will be. 

The models in this iPhone series also have the capability of 1080p HD video recording at 30fps or 60fps and 720p HD recording at 30fps. Basically, if you film in 4K, you will run out of battery life and storage space sooner than if you shoot in 1080p.
