How the winner is picked
On Tuesday 1 December Oz Lotto draws seven main numbers, in front of everyone. We take them in the order they come out and stick them into one big number: 317441229318.
Then we count that number around the entries, the way a clock counts the hours. Go past the last one and you do not fall off the end, you carry on from 1 again.
Wherever the counting stops, that entry wins. Every spot on the ring has exactly the same chance, and the balls decide, fair and square.

Do I have to buy anything?
No. The free entry above carries exactly the same chance as any other. Buying a device simply adds more numbers to your name. You do need to fill that form in though: it is what puts you in the draw, and it is where the Instagram handle comes from.
Which orders count for an extra entry?
Any order placed between 4 and 30 November holding a phone, tablet, smartwatch or Mac, new or refurbished. One entry per order, however many devices are on it. Accessories, batteries and services on their own do not count. They are matched to your entry by email, so use the same address you order with, guest checkout included. Bought already? Enter now and those orders are added to your name straight away.
Where do I see my numbers?
Right here on this page once you are logged in: this form turns into your list of numbers. You also get an email every time a new number lands.
How will I know if I won?
We email the address on your entry on Wednesday 2 December and put the winning spot on this page. Reply within 72 hours to claim it. Nobody is named in public: the page shows the spot number, never a person. If no reply comes in time, the next valid spot wins and we start again with whoever holds it.
Do I have to still be following you?
Yes. The follow is what the free entry is for, so we check the handle you gave us when the draw is run. If you are not following @ozmobiles at that moment, every spot in your name is invalid and the next valid spot after it wins. Unfollowing after you enter is the one thing that takes you out quietly, so leave it in place until the winner is announced.
What if I return the phone I bought?
Your spot keeps its number and is marked withdrawn, so nothing is renumbered and nothing happens quietly. It cannot win: if the balls land on a spot that is not valid, the next valid spot after it wins.
Can I enter from New Zealand?
Yes. Australia and New Zealand, 18 and over. If an NZ entry wins, the phone goes across at our cost, import charges included, and the warranty travels with it.

2. Promotion period
Entries open at 12:00am on Wednesday 4 November 2026 and close at 11:59pm on Monday 30 November 2026, Melbourne time (AEDT). The winner is drawn on Tuesday 1 December 2026 and announced on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
3. Who can enter
Open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Employees of OzMobiles and their immediate families cannot win.
4. How to enter
There are two ways to earn a spot in the draw, and no purchase is necessary:
- Free entry. Complete the entry form on this page and follow @ozmobiles on Instagram. One free entry per person.
- Order entry. Each order placed within the promotion period holding a phone, tablet, smartwatch or Mac, new or refurbished, earns one further entry, however many devices are on that order. Accessories, batteries and services on their own do not qualify.
Order entries are matched to your entry by the email address on the order, guest checkout included, so an order placed under a different email address does not earn a spot. Orders placed before you entered are counted once your entry is made.
Entries made with more than one email address, with an Instagram account that is not your own, or by automated means disqualify every entry in that person's name.
5. Spots
Each entry is issued a spot number, in the order entries are received. A spot keeps its number for the whole promotion: nothing is renumbered. We do not publish a list of entries. We publish the total number of entries when they close, so the draw can be checked against your own spot.
6. How the winner is determined
The winner is determined on Tuesday 1 December 2026 from the seven main numbers (not supplementary numbers) of that night's Oz Lotto draw, in the order they are drawn. Those seven numbers are joined into one number, which is divided by the total number of entries; the remainder is the winning spot. A remainder of zero means the last spot wins.
If that Oz Lotto draw is cancelled or postponed, the next completed Oz Lotto draw is used with the same method.
7. Valid entries and substitution
An entry is invalid if the Instagram handle given on the entry is not following @ozmobiles at the time the draw is verified, or if the order the spot came from has been cancelled or fully refunded.
Where the draw lands on an invalid spot, the next valid spot after it wins, wrapping from the last spot back to the first, and this repeats until a valid entry is reached.
The winner must reply to our notification email and claim the prize within 72 hours. If they do not, the prize passes to the entry at the next valid spot by the same method, and this repeats until a winner is confirmed.
8. The prize
One prize: an iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB in Exceptional condition, valued at $2,750 AUD, in the colour of the winner's choice subject to stock. There is no cash alternative and no substitute device. Delivery is free anywhere in Australia or New Zealand; for a New Zealand winner we cover import charges, and the warranty travels with the device.

The winning spot is published on this page and sent by email on Wednesday 2 December 2026. Winners are identified by spot number only; we do not publish names.
